François Hoehlinger — Hiring in a European Startup Environment and Reinventing the Rideshare Industry

On this episode, your host Oz Rashid is joined by François Hoehlinger, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Troopy, to discuss fast company growth and hiring in a high-growth mobility environment.

Troopy has developed a new way to move around the city to free people from urban mobility constraints and allows them to get to where they want to be in the city without hassles.

The discussion centers around the differences between corporate culture in different parts of the world, for example, how Germany is different from France, and the principles for fast company growth.

François explains their key hiring philosophies, the two candidate questions that get to the heart of what he looks for in employees, and why he likes to have a 15-minute casual coffee break with candidates.

He shares tactics for avoiding bad-fit people and problematic personalities and provides a piece of advice for those just starting out in their careers. To them, he says, “Don’t compromise who you are”.

🚀Great advice!
